The mezuzah is approximately 3 1/2 inches long, This mezuzah case comes with an upscale certified kosher scroll (Klaf), written by an experienced Israeli Sofer(scribe) on a high quality parchment. The scroll, which is beautifully hand written, meets stringent standards of Kashrut. Each scroll is checked both by a second Sofer and by computer at a special institute in Jerusalem to ensure that the scroll is properly written and that there are no defects. The scroll is approximately 2 ½ inches tall and 3 ¼ inches wide. It is traditionally believed that the Mezuzah scroll protects the household members both physically and spiritually.
